Jogeum

Jogeum support

Jogeum is an iPhone app for learning Korean one sentence at a time. Each screen shows one Korean sentence with its pronunciation and a translation. Tap a word to see what it means, listen to the sentence in an AI-generated voice, and save the ones you want to keep. If you sign in with Apple, you can also like sentences and comment on them.

Jogeum needs a subscription to read. It runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later.

Get help

Email jogeum.support@gmail.com. Tell us what happened, which iPhone you use and which version of iOS. If a sentence, translation or voice is wrong, tell us the sentence.

Never send us a password. We will not ask for one.

Cancel a subscription

Apple bills and manages your subscription, so you cancel it with Apple:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Jogeum, then Cancel Subscription. During a free trial the button says Cancel Free Trial.

You can also open Jogeum, tap Settings, then Subscription options, then Manage subscription.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or Apple renews it. If you cancel before a free trial ends, you are not charged. Deleting the app or your Jogeum account does not cancel a subscription.

Apple handles refunds. See Apple's refund page.

Restore a subscription

If you reinstall Jogeum or move to a new iPhone, open Jogeum, tap Settings, then Subscription options, then Restore Purchases. Use the Apple ID you subscribed with.

Delete your account

If you signed in with Apple, you can delete your account in the app:

  1. Open Jogeum and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Account, then Delete account.
  3. Confirm with Apple.

Your account and its likes, comments, reports and blocks are deleted at once and cannot be restored. Jogeum also asks Apple to end its Sign in with Apple access. Saved sentences, reading history and settings stay on your iPhone until you delete the app. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. See how to cancel.

If you have never signed in with Apple, your account is a guest account with no name or email address, and the app has nothing to delete. To have it removed sooner, email us. Unused guest accounts are deleted automatically. The privacy policy says when.

To remove Jogeum from your Apple ID's sign-in list, see Apple's page on Sign in with Apple.
